The theme was 80s and 90s, and the community didn’t disappoint — everyone dressed up and embraced the nostalgia, bringing joy, light and laughter to a heavy topic. There was even a surprise guest appearance from Humphrey B. Bear, a massive hit for everyone in the room.
On a personal note, Dan took the stage to share his family’s journey — losing his mother in 2024 and his father in 2025 — a deeply moving moment for the room. Cancer touches so many of us, and being able to speak openly about that loss in a room full of people dedicated to change made it all the more powerful.
At Excelsior Management Consultancy, we were proud to support this vital cause and make a surprise donation that night to help drive the Association’s mission forward.
Massive congratulations to CEO Casey Leeson for putting together such a phenomenal, seamless and heartwarming event. Thank you to everyone who dressed up, bid, donated and showed up for cancer prevention and support.

This past Saturday, I had the absolute privilege of speaking at the Cancer Prevention & Support Association’s fundraising event, and it’s safe to say it was unforgettable.

If cancer has touched your family too, the Cancer Prevention and Support Association’s work — in education and respite care — is worth knowing about.
EMC has made a surprise donation of $5200 that we hope represents our commitment to this worthwhile cause and goes towards helping as many of those who need it.
